The system
The ZeroCut Building System, described plainly.
The ZeroCut e-SIP panel (enhanced - Structural Integrated Panel) is a structural panel system through Factory-Built Exchange (FBX). PreFab Innovations assists you with Pre-designed plans crafted for this system and selecting a subcontractor.
Plainly stated- the ZeroCut e-SIP panel is a highly efficient wall which is Class A fire-rated, takes 1/4 of the time to install and has high r-values.

Composition
Cold-formed steel framing
The primary studs are a code-recognized cold-formed steel section, laid out on a standard 24" module. The section, gauge, and connections are specified by the engineer of record on each project.
Continuous insulation layer
Insulation runs continuously across the exterior face of the framing, uninterrupted by fasteners through the primary studs. Thermal bridging through the wall assembly is limited to secondary attachments.
Factory-bonded air barrier
The air barrier is bonded to the panel in the shop. The outer cladding half of the assembly is installed last, on site. That order of operations is what lets any licensed contractor build the system and keeps the assembly on the site-built side of the code, rather than a factory-built module.
Panelized delivery
The wall arrives as panels sized to the plan. Framing on site becomes an install step. The mechanism for speed is fewer on-site operations, not a promised time figure.
Exterior cladding
ZeroCut e-SIP panels use non-combustible fiber-cement cladding that meets the deemed-to-comply exterior covering requirement under IWUIC and California Chapter 7A.
Licensing
PreFab Innovations designs plans for the ZeroCut Building System.
The ZeroCut Building System was invented by Factory-Built Exchange (FBX). PreFab Innovations, Inc. provides pre-designed homes drawn for the system and locates qualified certified subcontractor installers who build them under their own licenses. PFI is a licensed reseller of the FBX ZeroCut Building System.
